MIGUEL AGUILA
DECEMBER 9, 1971 - APRIL 2, 2020

Miguel was a beloved father, son, brother, husband, friend and colleague. He was truly the life of every party and never met a stranger. Miguel’s smile and laugh were infectious, and his memory lives in our hearts forever.

In late 2017, Miguel was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. After a year-long battle consisting of several surgeries, chemotherapy treatments, and radiation, his testing revealed that he was in remission. However, within a few short months, the cancer had reappeared. His body just couldn’t overcome the disease, even after additional chemotherapy treatments and radiation.

On April 2, 2020, Miguel passed away surrounded by family and friends. There isn’t a day that goes by where he’s not thought of, but we find pieces of him shining through his five children — his proudest legacy.

May we be continually grateful for the many blessings in our lives, and always remember to live life with the same kind of passion as Miguel.

The Miguel Aguila Memorial Golf Tournament began in 2020, on his birthday, to remember and honor his legacy annually. All proceeds are donated to benefit fellow cancer patients and their families during their time of greatest need.
